Valentine Roti

Roti at Valentine Roti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Come here for crispy and paper thin Roti Canai

" When Roti meets Valentine you fall in love "
Tugged in a small corner along Japan Semarak is this award winning Roti Canai stall.
What makes their Roti Canai different from the others is their fluffiness. It's not an easy task to achieve this as the Roti Canai maker tosses it in the air several times more than the usual. They also pride themself in making their own dough to achieve this.
Their menu is extensive from Roti Planta to Maggi Goreng. This is a place you will never go hungry again and it doesn't cost you much to do that.
Awesome Rating : 9/10
Location : Stor No. 1, Jalan Semarak, Opposite Menara Celcom, 54000 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish

Street Food, Jalan Alor
Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Come here for a wide selection of local Chinese, Thai, Indian food.

Special BBQ Chicken wings only in Jalan Alor tastes like the beef satay from China - next to 7 eleven opposite Changkat Bukit Bintang
Visit Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish if you want to savour good local Chinese food. The other Thai tomyam restaurants around the corner cooks up dishes as equally scrumptious.
Awesome rating : 9/10
Restoran Meng Kee Grill Fish outside in Kuala Lumpur Malaysa
Location : 39, Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Ikan Bakar Bellamy

Ikan Bakar Bellamy off, Lorong Bellamy Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Come here for grilled fish with local malay side dishes
You know your at the right place once you smell the aroma of the grilled fish. The fish here is wrapped with banana leaves to give it's wonderful aroma and at the same time help maintain the moisture of the fish. We actually fell in love with their marinade above everything else. A good balance of sour and spicy. Their other side dishes are equally good. Have them with a plate of rice with Sambal Belacan at the side. Heavenly.
Awesome Rating : 8.5/10

Dale and Yana felt in love more than a decade ago over culinary differences and their love for travel. Their passion soon bloomed into their very own Blog on Instagram and recently just launched Facebook account, Dyfoodiesonthego. DY (Dale and Yana) as the Blog’s name represents; both Cooks, Photographs and write individual reviews of Food, Hotels and Restaurants for the local and international scene cohesively. Dale and Yana’s background extends to a multiracial blend of Portuguese, French, Chinese, Malay and Thai descent. Making each and every of that review a more indebt one.
The idea of Dyfoodiesonthego initially came about to relief each other’s pain in deciding where to eat for the day. Which they bet most of us can relate to this. Sometimes even creating unnecessary arguments during the decision making process. That ultimately made them take on the food blogosphere together to give a helping hand back to society. It was a tool for their friends, family and fellow travellers to source for an easier alternative into the best food around the city and the globe. They have travelled extensively around the Asian region and even to further places like  America and Europe to bring you their awesome reviews which is most importantly unbiased. If the food sucks they will say that it is.
As an interesting fact, The Asian Food Channel and the Food Network channel played a major role in their food and travelling blogs start up. It was love at first watch, and they became addicted.
Back then in 2007, before the start of their social media influence. Dale and Yana were actively finding ways on how to up the ante on their cooking skills while exchanging views on new recipes. They soon discovered that writing a food blog could help them further showcase their talents. Soon enough the Malaysia food scene was booming and there was so much to try and discover. Dyfoodiesonthego never turned back since then.
